Copying Scalar Values to Meshes
If required, you can copy the measurements included within a scalar mesh to the selected mesh.
How to Copy Scalar Values to a Mesh
- In the Data Properties and Settings panel, right-click the mesh that you want the copy the scalar values to.
- Choose Copy Scalar Values From in the pop-up menu.
The Choose a Scalar Values Slot dialog appears.
- Choose the mesh that includes the scalar values you want to copy in the Object drop-down menu..
- Choose the measurement you want to copy in the Slot drop-down menu.
- Click OK to copy the measurement to the selected mesh.
The mapped measurement(s) appear in the Measurement drop-down menu in the Scalar information box.
- Save your changes, if required (see Exporting Meshes).
